How to Perform Securities Transactions at the Counter

  • Visit the HDS trading counter, fill out the order form, and submit it to the company’s brokerage staff.
  • Complete all the required information on the order form: full name, ID number, account number, stock code, quantity, price, order date, and sign the form.
  • For the quantity of shares: specify the number of shares to buy/sell; the quantity must be a multiple of 10 (for Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange) and 100 (for Hanoi Stock Exchange).
  • For the stock code: write the correct and complete abbreviation of the Listed Company.
  • For the price: specify the purchase or sale price (for limit orders) or check the corresponding box (for ATO or ATC orders) or desired order type.
  • Upon receiving the order form, the brokerage staff will check the cash or securities balance, and if sufficient, will proceed to place the customer’s order in the system.
  • If the order is matched, you will receive a notification of the matching results at the counter or can check through your online account.

How to Perform Securities Transactions by Phone

To trade via phone, you must register using the form provided at the HDS brokerage office. You will propose an order password and have it confirmed by HDS brokerage staff.

1. Customers can perform securities transactions by phone as follows:

  • Call (84.28) 7107 7188, and you will receive instructions from the system.
  • Follow the system’s instructions, press 1 to place an order. Your call will be transferred to the order-taking system and you will speak directly with a trading staff member. You need to provide the following information:
    + Account holder’s name, Account code, ID number.
    + Phone order password.
  • If you provide accurate security information, the staff will ask for further details: Buy/sell/cancel/modify order, stock code, quantity, price. The staff will then check the cash or securities balance and place the order in the system if appropriate.
  • If you do not provide the correct security information, you will be asked again. If you still fail to provide the correct information, the call will be terminated.
  • All phone order information will be recorded and stored at HDS.

2. To ensure security, customers should regularly contact brokerage staff to change passwords and keep security information confidential. HDS is not responsible for any leakage of security information by customers.

3. To stop phone trading, please contact HDS Brokerage Department to cancel phone trading registration.

How to Perform Securities Transactions via Internet

  • After opening an account, you will receive an email from the brokerage department confirming the opening of your trading account at HDS, along with access code, login password, and order password for online trading.
  • If you have not received the email, contact us immediately to update the account holder’s email address.
  • Upon first login to your account on the HDS website, you will be prompted to change your password. These passwords should be changed regularly to ensure security.
  • To place an order, access the website: https://online.hdbs.vn or https://www.hdbs.vn and follow these steps:
    ✓ Enter your account number and login password.

    ✓ After logging into your account interface, select “Place Buy Order” or “Place Sell Order” to proceed with the transaction.

    ✓ Fill in all required details such as stock code, order type, quantity, price, and order password. If all information is complete and accurate, your order will be in the pending status.

  • You can Cancel or Modify orders through the online trading account.
  • You can check the status of your order in the Order Statement and Securities Transaction Statement. When your order is matched, the details will be fully displayed in the Order Statement.
  • Login Password and Order Password are your personal confidential information. You should change them regularly to ensure security. HDS is not responsible if your passwords are leaked.
Note:

– If you enter the Login Password or Order Password incorrectly more than 3 times, your account will be automatically locked. For assistance, please contact HDS Brokerage Department and provide the necessary information to unlock your account.
