Are you trading at scale but not yet benefiting from margin rates that reflect your level of activity? H-Boost is a dedicated margin financing package from HD Securities, designed for professional investors whose trading activity can unlock more preferential financing terms.
Rather than applying a single margin rate to all clients, H-Boost offers a flexible, tiered mechanism: the higher your eligible trading value, the more preferential your margin rate may become. Rate eligibility is reviewed automatically on a periodic basis, without the need to submit a new request for each review cycle.
How does H-Boost work?
H-Boost determines preferential margin rates based on the average monthly trading value of the margin sub-account over the preceding three months.
HDS automatically reassesses each eligible account on a quarterly basis and applies the corresponding margin rate for the next review period. This allows investors to stay focused on their investment strategies while HDS manages the periodic rate assessment.
Eligibility
H-Boost is available to individual clients who meet both of the following requirements:
- Have an assigned broker/account manager at HD Securities; and
- Maintain an active margin sub-account with HDS.
Programme Period
From 4 June 2026 to 30 June 2027, unless otherwise amended or announced by HDS.
Key Terms and Conditions
Margin rates and review cycle:
Preferential margin rates are reassessed every three months, based on full monthly periods calculated from the programme commencement date.
Where a client qualifies for a different margin rate following a review, the new rate will take effect from the first business day of the subsequent review period. Existing outstanding margin balances that have not yet become due will continue to be subject to the rate already applicable to those balances.
Other promotional packages:
H-Boost may not be applied concurrently with other promotional packages offered by HDS. If a client switches to another package while participating in H-Boost, the H-Boost preferential terms will cease to apply from the effective date of the switch.
Fees and other applicable parameters:
Fees and other terms will be subject to HDS’s prevailing policies and relevant announcements in effect from time to time.
How to Register for H-Boost
For initial registration, clients should contact their assigned broker/account manager at HDS.
From the next review cycle onward, HDS will automatically reassess the client’s eligibility based on trading value and apply the corresponding margin rate. No additional action is required from the client.
